We have designed the landscaping for the above project and installed autumn 2008.
The client had specific requirements that reflected the high quality design of the proposed development. These were to
be a Japanese themed garden and the use of associated planting. Bamboo as the projects title suggested were very important.
4m plus phyllostachys nigra were imported for the job and cared for by our nursery until installation was due. Large
Japanese maples were also procured and these were once again tended for by the nursery in a specially prepared shade
tunnel.
When the time came the entire garden had to be installed in space of one week. Certified topsoil was stockpiled to the
front of the development and then “decanted” to all areas of the site using powered wheelbarrows.
Large specimens were then off loaded and tree pits were excavated by mini excavator.
